Special Education Program

Alliance Alice M. Baxter College-Ready High School supports all learners, and embraces scholars with disabilities. We believe in an inclusive environment where all learners have access to rigorous, grade-level content in a safe environment. We aim to ensure that scholars at Alliance Alice M. Baxter College-Ready High School feel seen, heard, and supported.

In order to uphold our belief that all students mean all, Alliance Alice M. Baxter College-Ready High School's special education program is comprehensive and commits resources to support our scholars' diverse needs. The Special Education Team is composed of a Special Education Coordinator, School Psychologist, three Resource Specialist Teachers (with each specializing in a specific grade-level and content), an Instructional Aide and Behavior Implementation Interventionist. Other related services such as Occupational Therapy, Speech & Language, and Visual Itinerant Services are provided in partnership with outside agencies.

Please reach out to our Special Education Teachers Guadalupe Rosagel or Chanel Evans at (310) 221-0430 or grosagel@laalliance.org / chevans@laalliance.org if you'd like to learn more about our Special Education Program.
